Come discover one of the most beautiful places on Earth—the Val d'Orcia. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, known for its perfect hills, cypress trees, family farms, olive groves and vineyards—it’s like living in an Italian countryside postcard.

Pienza

After months of lock-down, let's escape virtually to the enchanting Orcia Valley in Tuscany!

Join Chiara on an outdoor walking tour of Pienza, the "ideal city.” Discover this magical hill town, created by Enea Silvio Piccolomini who later became Pope Pius II, and transformed this small anonymous Medieval town into a perfect Renaissance city.

Walk through the alleys, visit Medieval churches, admire masterpieces of architecture—the Piccolomini Palace and the Cathedral—and enjoy a breathtaking view over one of the most picturesque valleys in all of Italy.

During our tour, Chiara will discuss Pienza’s history, share personal stories (she grew up nearby), stop by her friend’s place on the terrace, and of course indulge in Pienza’s rich food traditions, including its heavenly Pecorino cheese.
