Join Luca Pietrosanti, art historian extraordinaire + friends for a journey through the lives and works of just four of the great French artists and artistic practices from the Medieval to Modern era.
Visiting the Gobelin Manufactory in Paris, founded in the 17th century by the “Sun King” Louis XIV, we’ll discover the secrets of tapestry making and pay homage to the anonymous masters that since the 17th century have been creating wall hangings famous for their unique elegance, vibrant colors, rich textures, and intricate designs.
